The one in Monterey Park is best, but there are a bunch of locations around LA and they've all been great in my opinion. Especially good restaurant for groups but good for a laidback date too.
Somethings I've tried over time and really like:

Salt and Pepper anything, but especially the Pork Chop.
Any kind of greens fried with garlic
