Lesser appreciated Prodigy recordāstill relentlessly raw and hard but has a bit of a polish to it. You can really hear them lean in the direction of the emerging sound that would later probably be classified as electroclash/new rave/bloghouse in a way that highlights the bridge between that and the 90s electronica that preceded it

This is one of my favorite albums of all time! I listen to it at least twice a week. I recommend anyone who wants to feel like an action hero (or villain) for the next couple hours to listen to it. I miss albums like these that feel like blockbuster soundtracks. The brutal rave production, the in-your-face vocals, the mix of underground grit with a high-gloss pop finish on topā¦ bring back cinematic rave music!

i really consider this to be a candidate for best electronic album of the 2010s, almost for that decade what Daft Punkās Discovery was for the 2000s. this album showcases such a breadth of electronic styles; with house, drum and bass, dubstep, and even some vocal driven radio cuts and ambient/orchestral tracks. itās an ambitious and beautifully arranged concept album that flows front to back seamlessly (the bonus tracks after Departure excluded, but those tracks are great). Nero presents some of the most well produced cuts in bass music (Me & You, Reaching Out, Innocence, Wonāt You Be There, Must Be the Feeling) and definitely reached a pinnacle of the midrange dubstep/electro house styles that were developing at the time. plus the Promises VIP with Skrillex is a classic. this oneās for the OG UK bass heads, the EDM festival Kandi Kids, and the American MLG montage gamers alike.

Probably the one Iāve listened to front to back the most! Feels very of electronic music from its era (a sort of teenage-internet 2014 feel) whilst also having some genuinely timeless house songs on there. Airglow Fires is an all timer.
