A wildly underrated acoustic album that truly got me through the toughest part of the pandemic. Maneuvering through grief and guilt and loneliness, playing every instrument on her own, Ms. Williams is immensely talented in crafting music for feelings that I didn’t even know I was experiencing.

Absolutely heartbreaking and devastating, but one of the best albums I’ve listened to in recent times
I love the mellow guitar vibes and the vocals are just perfect in every way to encapsulate the nostalgia and melancholy of the themes the album talks about

I remember listening to this song a lot when the album came out, was going through something difficult mentally. The lyrics “flower moon, curse the night, if the sun don’t make things right, then it’s gonna take a year, gonna take a yearrrrr!”, especially at the end sung by Steve Lacy really helped and resonated in a both poignant and optimistic way. So good.
