🪴I've been in one of those rare seasons where you can actually see how the difficulty of it is forming you in deep, character-building ways
yeah, it's been confusing and miserable at times, but—wow—what a time of preparation and resetting and reorienting
hard things don't always lead to growth, but I've found that striving for a posture of humility, curiosity, and love amidst the trials makes those seasons more likely to bear fruit

✳️Maybe i have too high a tolerance for discomfort but something tells me thats not the worst thing. Whats so bad about slapping on a smile when it hurts. You go for a run you change your perspective and things are good until they aren’t and you go and try to fix it again. about the journey right? maybe it is better to be honest with yourself i dont know. But this works sometimes for me believe in life and love try ur best etc. sorry to preach.

Journaling saves my life on a daily basis. Being able to become present after a long hectic day or even just taking time to recount a beautiful day is really grounding to me. It’s so insane to be able to look back at a journal from three years ago and feel exactly how you / your world around you felt at that time. Also, a great alternative to social media. - Jack
