So I am quite happy with most things I own, you never know when they can come in handy. The few things I would like to get rid of, though, are things like clothes (which I need to donate) or gifts that I never really figured out what to do with but feel like I like them enough to keep around (and bc they r gifts I feel obligated to try my hardest to make it work).

Wait actually this just reminded me that I own ankle weights that Im probably never gonna use but like... Do I donate them?? Do I find a friend who just started working out and would like to use 1kg ankle weights?? My sis was getting rid of them and I thought that maybe I could use them but I literally have never (i just use dumbbels).

jahnneke tricky! it's dangerous territory to give someone a fitness gift unless they are definitely asking for it.

I love clothes. So so much. More than some people sometimes. So of course I lowkey hoard. Lately I’ve been either giving things away or selling them. I feel like I love having stuff but over time it scares me that I’m too attached and I don’t want to hold on to things I don’t need due to some long gone feeling. Plus it doesn’t hurt to make some extra money on the side 🤷🏾‍♂️

when i get something new and can get rid of something i had, i think of someone in my life who might like or need it and offer it to them first. have successfully reassigned items to loved ones such as lightly used rugs, office chairs, good pants...
i may be taking a financial loss by not reselling nice items but i am always so happy to see the item in use at a later date.

As y'all might know, I'm a climber. Which is fun, cute, sexy and I recommend everyone to become one. Only downside is that it's def a male dominated sport. There's plenty of girls who climb, but a large majority (in our gym) is male. Meaning that the likelihood of going on an outdoor climbing trip without men.. is small. Unless, of course, you organise a girls-only climbing trip. I would highly recommend doing so. Men r great but it's also nice to only be surrounded by girls who know what's it like to climb when you have a menstrual cycle and don't have a natural knack for dynamic power. Made me feel supported, seen and connected.
