Warning: this takes gut wrenching to a dangerous level. I havenāt stopped thinking about it since. It is so affecting that I donāt think I could watch it again but Iām so glad Iāve seen it. Andrew Scott and Paul Mescalās performances take spectacular to another level. It made me feel a lot of things and very deeply unnerved and sad for a long time after watching. It is brilliant.

Unequivocally the most harrowing film I have ever seen and I cannot get it out of my headā¦.
Deeply disturbing , anxiety inducing, compelling, stomach churning. Shot and written with effective precision, without overkill or gratuitous exploitation. Movies about the human will to survive are hard to do without being either corny or played out and this does follow a similar narrative arc but I really appreciated how it was told. I recommend watching the little docu about the making of the film. I loveĀ production. Unbelievable true story and really compelling film

I expected this to be graphic considering its subject matter but itās a purely psychological thriller with a twisted bent. This movie gave me chills and deeply unsettled me in ways I was not expecting!!! brilliant commentary on the nature of true crime content, with realistic depictions of technologyā¦ The lead is an incredibly fascinating and complex female character. highly recommend if you havenāt seen itā¦

I could not think of a more poignant and more gut wrenching film. Big content warning for assault and other things if that is too much. The themes in it are handled very sensitive but itāll still leave you devastated. Also my favorite Joseph Gordon-Levitt performance by far
