I just sat in a 77 degree office for hours because my manager didn’t know we could change the thermostat on our own. The guy who usually does it changes it from his phone, and he’s out of town. So despite us all being hot as fuck, my manager wanted to wait and ask our operations manager if/how we could change it 🙄 so you know what I did?? I *got up,* *examined the thermostat,* and changed it from HEAT to AUTO. LIKE AN ADULT.

🙃Joy of all joys! I just love sending out an email to the top brass and the numbers being wrong. I checked everything else but clearly not well enough!!! Truly amazing way to start a Monday off…at least my big boss (my manger‘s manager) didn‘t yell at me like he would have the last guy 🫠

😃now i understand people have to pay the bills and whatnot, but an unserious job (or let’s be real, unpaid internship) is about as good as life can get. my boss offered me work off tomorrow because it’s going to be 78 degrees and beautifully sunny. hell fucking yeah brother. networking, wikipedia, and phone calls from old irish women is my whole responsibility.
