This is still one of my favorite shows of all time. I haven’t watched all of it start to finish, but it still makes me laugh while tackling really tough issues. I just learned the other day the first 2 seasons were inspired by an autobiography from an actual MASH doctor who served in the Korean War.
I think it’s still relevant in our current political climate. One time, during a tense situation on a tightly packed train, someone told my wife, “You gotta laugh, or you’re gonna cry.” Even while things feel like they’re falling apart around us, we have to keep smiling if we have any chance of getting through it.
