Listening to P!nk

her “I’m Not Dead” album✨ Maybe it’s a very specific feeling, but just listening to her every now and then, brings back memories of listening to Who Knew or , and ‘Cuz I Can on a car radio and your mother just vibing to it with her Motorola in hand and you think “this slaps”. Oh ain’t that just sublime🥹

COME AWAY WITH ME - NORAH JONES

Not one I purchased, but the first CD I was given as a child. Used to listen to this in the car with my grandmother when she’d pick me up and drive me to ballet lessons. Very formative album for me since it’s this and the live version of landslide that were the first “real” music I can remember hearing. If it’s first music I personally purchased… a bunch of random cds from the used book store when I was in middle school. Don’t know what would be in that stack.

blowing out bedside candle right before sleep

ah yes now it is time to sleep. I like the act of blowing it out as well as the smell that follows. I do however find myself anxious to not accidentally fall asleep while it's lit, sometimes I wish I could sleep with it still going.
