Dollar general, dollar tree, family dollar all of them are amazing places. You either get multiple come ups, buy something you know isn’t gonna work but the deal crazy, or see the most lethal verbal exchanges you’ll ever witness as long as you live. I’ll never skip a chance to walk those unorganized palaces of wonder.

Anyways that place is so CLUTCH when you need a to re-up on toothpaste, a phone charger and a cool drink.
My town has 2 of them, and there’s nothing particularly special about either, except for that unique kind of intangible charm. They’re crammed with weird finds and cheap gems. Drop by quick so you can restock your frozen burritos, buy someone a very specific card (get well soon - the flu - cousin - female), re-up on socks and tanks, and buy a t-shirt branded by whatever town you’re in — a classic collectible.
Don’t be that person. Mf got a banana and a Celsius, something is going down and they need to make a quick exit. You got mad vegetables anyway, let the cashier breathe a little before they struggle to remember how to ring up them green onions you copping.
