i'm currently running season 5 of LOST alongside season 2 of Ugly Betty and really enjoying the concept of Charles Whidmore's magazine empire he started after leaving The Island

it’s nice to have a balanced TV diet at all times... currently? addicted to For All Mankind on Apple TV and also Summer House on Bravo
started with FAM last night, which imagines a world in which the Soviets win the Space Race in 69 rather than the US and is kind of slayyy, and finished up with Summer House, which bravely decides to explore what happens when a bunch of yuppie NYC millennials head to the Hamptons every weekend (spoiler: get shitfaced fight and fuck).
sometimes this is the only thing my brain can enjoy watchin while other times, i’m eager to Understand Intelligent Dialogue (IUD but different). we are simply not in control of our desires so we must have options for both situations :)

I only watch "old" shows.
why? because they are better, they have plot & most importantly they have a bunch of seasons.
Also because I find new shows repetitive & they lack story, I feel like everything is the same, writers have become lazy, actors/actresses all look the same & I feel its because our brains are so fried we can't keep up with such complex stories, so media companies don't even try anymore. It's sad really, content is shit & has been shit for at least these past 8 or so years.
anyway, if you have any suggestions for long running "old" shows, share! <33
