It goes on everything, I’m disgusting. My favorite meal for it though is day old white rice, butter, soy sauce, spicy chili crisp, topped with a fried egg that’s crispy on the sides. if I could have this as my last meal, I’d die happy.
It’s a weird but good contrast, and will make any bad ice cream taste better. Compliments well with plain vanilla ice cream where you have the cold and sweetness, and then hint of heat of spice. Recommend using the OG chili oil, Lao gan ma.
A stunningly strange and silly and wonderful book. A world where superheroes are all around us. But it’s the strange traits, insecurities and manipulations we possess that are our superpowers. This becomes a playful way to dissect the specificities that make us terrible and magnificent all at the same time. Few books have stuck with me like this one.
