brilliant. beautiful and funny and heartwrenching and silly and all around fantastic. the more i think about this movie the more i love it. tells an unconventional tale of self-confidence, self-sabotage, regret and jealousy, etc etc the ending was a bit silly but i can look past it lol. what a fantastic cast and fantastic production. they frame things throughout as if it were to look like a stage production only for that to be the eventual main plot point. one of my favorite scenes (if not films) of the year

One of the more interesting and original movies I’ve seen this year. It’s more than the premise suggests, and way more than your typical wannabe Kaufman and/or Kafka story. Provocative, daring, and really quite funny.
Also I can’t get “I Wanna Get Next To You” out of my head.

It is my belief that so many people would be less lonely if they invited their friends to do their mundane errands and chores together. Dont have time to see your friends, cant afford to go out to socialize? Invite your friends to things you already will be doing and it ease some of the pain of the responsibilities. Or call someone to come over if you made a little too much for dinner. here is what I shared tonight: chicken thighs, fairy tale eggplant, fennel salad, and a nice groleau red wine
