Some folks had Ceaser. Some folks had Chinese chicken. Some had Greek. And some had a plain old salad. But has any ever had hot dog salad.
“What hell is that?!” You may ask.
I‘d be happy to explain.
Hot Dog Salad is a basically a bowl of chopped hot dogs tossed in a lettuce bowl.
I’ve never seen folks eat it or sold at any restaurant joint. It seems gross, of course it. But it’s my thing and I like it.
And it’s tasty, surprisingly. I enjoy the soft texture and crunch of it. It is something rarely ever seen here in Los Angeles, California. I wonder why haven’t these yahoos got in on it. I guarantee that it would sell like hot cakes.
Hot Dog Salad, folks, don’t pass up on it. 👍

Since a couple users are brute forcing a "Hot Dog Week" here is my contribution. All you have to do to make a hot dog "Texan" is slap it in a flour tortilla. My family likes to use Kielbasa, which is somewhat related to Costco Grass Fed Uncured Smoked Polish Sausage, with an APPROPRIATE amount of sharp cheddar cheese. Optional garnishes include ketchup, mustard, and pickled jalapeños.

Seeing all these hot dogs got me wanting to partake in the festivities. So I went out and got a hot dog after work. This one has pickles, caramelized onions, and ketchup. Food always tastes way better when you've been wanting it.

2) chili, NO CHEESE, and maybe a few diced onions
also whenever i go somewhere, i like to see what variation of hot dog they have. the chicago style felt a bit too much (i like the pickle in it), and the seattle one was egregious (from someone who doesn’t like cream cheese). Then Pink’s Hot Dogs in LA was a treat; i had the Brando it was pretty good

I understand that it sounds and looks unusual to eat a bowl of cheeseburger helper while David Lynch’s Blue Velvet film is playing right in front of our optics. I don’t know, I guess it is a better substitute than popcorn. But it is my thing and I like it.
