Heaven Knows is a masterpiece. Iβve been listening to it so much over the past month. just sit down and listen to it if you are skeptical. Modern classic, you can listen to it all the time. studying, working, walking, cooking, play it at parties, whatever. it literally fits all occasions and not to sound like a shitty music review website but it is genuinely multifaceted and interesting and fun to listen to.

This album is phenomenal, and I feel like the title is so strong because it is grand and summarizes the overarching idea Janelle is touching on with all the tracks! I love titles that give me strong mental images/draw on emotional associations I have, and I feel this one does.

πThat simple quote has stuck with me ever since I first heard it. To me it says that we have to face our present challenges in life head on, that it will be difficult but we have to embrace the chaos and put in the effort if we want to get to our ideal place. Change takes effort and things do get better with time and we should always remind ourselves to learn to dance in the rain. Yes, we can be crying for the moon about how we feel unfulfilled but we have to at least try and live in the moment and plan/dream of better days.

2024 started off terrible for me. I was working a terrible job (night shift) and felt like I had no friends. I was miserable and hated life and compared myself to everyone and their mother. In May I started a new job that I deeply enjoy, made some amazing new friends, became closer with the friends that have stuck by me and like βcousinβ at 24 years old I have fallen in love with living.
