such a fun way to get into celebatory moods and it’s so so pretty and intricate yes it hurts as hell taking it off once it dries but beauty is pain you could say and the end result is worth it also getting your henna done results in some epic convos taking place and lots of laughter and jokes

DOING UR OWN HENNA/MEHENDI TATTOOS

It's so fun and looks very cool. (I would advise to buy mehendi that is already in a cone to make your life easier. Additionally maybe start out with the help of a friend as it takes a little getting used to and definitely watch some videos before going all out.)

Wear ethnic clothes

it feels so empowering to walk around wearing ethnic clothes in a ‘modern’ city where the standard fashion is deeply influenced by the west. i will always love u, sarees <3 also, this is my mum’s saree, and many sarees are heirlooms passed down in the family. it’s quite literally, wearing your culture, carrying the stories of your ancestors with you! maybe this is why i like thrifted clothes lol

i have been in love with this movie since i first saw it on the big screen; it’s my favourite movie and as i type this post out i’m watching it again for the umpteenth time. romance, drama, comedy, music, satire, revenge, glamour, this film literally has it all. i recommend this film to every single person ever.
