they're not that old but I’ve recently bought a new charger for my DS and played Sims Urbz to completion for the first time — I love that game sm but had never actually finished it. I’ve played it everywhere recently — on the train, in bed, on the bus, it’s just such a nice portable size
I love my Switch but it’s Big and Expensive there’s something really cute about the DS double / touch screen
aaaand non-PC Sims graphics are unmatched and the gameplay is so funny (wish they didn’t piss themselves so much tho)

Lately I've been playing old puzzle games when I want to relax. The 3DS is ideal due to the touch screen, and NO NOTIFICATIONS, SUBSCRIPTION FOMO or other apps/social media to pull me away from what I'm doing. Games are dirt cheap. Can be surprisingly zen

I'm talking like, a Wii, a PS2, an N64. I have a modded PS2 and it's really cool. A lot more people should get into modding old gaming consoles, because it breathes new life into them in a way you didn't realize could happen. I have a modded Nintendo DSi and it's very cool. I wish I got a 3DS instead, but I was being cheap about it, because a used 3DS is still priced at around 100 bucks.

Okay I know I know, old news. I’ve had mine since 2020 and recently picked it back up again to reply BOTW and TOTK. Oh my god!!!! So much joy!! How wonderful to be able to bring it with me when I travel. How joyous to be able to play with friends. I miss my DS but my switch holds a special place in my heart!!!!!
