it is way less difficult to do than you'd think got my dad a starter kit on a whim for xmas one year. he's not artsy at all. didn't think it'd take. he has been making stain glass everything for a decade now.

Totally agree. It's been my favorite hobby for the last few years - I learned from my mom. It's so fun, and actually quite accessible (minus the cost of materials). Easy to learn, difficult to master as they say

nothing more satisfying than seeing a knitted sweater / ceramic cup / glass dish and being like โ€œi could make thatโ€, taking 10 close up reference photos, and walking away knowing full well u never will
*doesnโ€™t apply to cost of learning & growing said craft skill ๐Ÿ˜‹
