I love when people do this. although I tend to slip into an Orange County pace when I’m nervous or excited (thanks mom!!), I try to make the effort to slow down and be more careful with my words. It also lends itself to being a better listener!

I love to hear someone speak without sounding like they have a question mark at the end of every sentence (“right?”). You’re saying something. I’m listening. We’re all listening. Say what you want to say and don’t use your tone to apologize for saying it.
