- there’s a riot going on by sly and the family stone
soul man by sam & dave, papa's got a brand new bag by james brown, give it to me baby by rick james, flashlight by parliament, california dreamin' by bobby womack, love rollercoaster by ohio players
The roots had a band behind them, really beautiful insturmentals. I'd start at "What They Do"
Also look at Warren G and that whole g-funk set. They had solid backing tracks.
I took it in a canon rebel g that I was lucky enough to find at an estate sale for about $20 and it’s by far my favorite pic I’ve ever taken! I think the film is like fujifilm ISO 400 or something idk but I love the colors it brings out
