she is a Palestinian children’s book author + illustrator. i don’t have kids in my life but i work in the literary world (mostly with children’s lit) so i discovered her through that and i think her work is so beautiful! she does some more “serious” work too, like writing for publications in comic form (like this one about artist heba zagout, and this one on aaron bushnell).
