memoryquilt i think most of the mainstream songs are just the best for this type of bonding since it's catchy and recognisable. from my experience, i always first go for all the basics of songs from my mother tongue language and then carry on with whatever it's fun to sing lol

social anxiety fears ME. singing a little song with friends (and strangers) and watching other people get up and do it too is soooo fun. I may not know a lot of popular karaoke-able songs but I definitely want to do it again :)
