Fun, bluesy rock, a perfect starting place for a new / curious fan. I haven't stopped listening since it dropped last month, it goes down so easy and it plays well live, too. My fave track changes daily because it's just that good.

One of my favvvv songssss ! I don't know how I discovered this song, and I don't listen to jets to brazil often (I don't even necessarily like this album), but this song yup! When I was living in Virginia, my partner at the time and I would drive to his parents house it was almost 2ish hours away. Those drives were my fav because I'd get to listen to awesome music while surrounded by the beautiful trees... some of my best memories from that Maddie era... It was fall and gloomy and we were driving down a two lane highway blasting this song, dissecting what makes it so perfect... can't put it into words now ... goes so hard I want to jump and scream😆 I would also listen to it on repeat when I worked my office job and I have an entire music video planned out for it in my head... its 100% in my top 5 fav songs of all time <3 Guys music is so awesome if you think about it :)

ahhhhhh i love this song. i wouldn’t say it’s special to me for any particular reason at the moment, but i’ve just moved to a new city and i’ve been playing it literally every single time i drive anywhere or play any music at all. ITS SO GOOD!!! i just know for the rest of all time i’ll associate it with moving here, it’s like a not yet realised specialness!!!!!

Figured I'd share my own 😁
I love playing this song on the drive home after an eventful day or weekend, when everyone is quiet, tired and reflective.
Makes past events feel grander and is a blissful conclusion to an adventure.

It's 20 minutes of shredding and lyrics about climate change anxiety, and I listen to the whole thing every time. Linked: the live performance I saw of it a month ago in Portland, fittingly, during a torrential downpour.

An incredible, genre-defying film from Johnnie To that uses Judo as the philosophical foundation for its story of three people looking for more out of life. You see them thrown to the ground repeatedly in its 95 mins, but more than anything, it's a film about the importance of getting back up. Over, and over, and over. It features a deftly hidden twist and a couple incredibly dynamic sequences (the arcade scene and the night club centerpiece) that I had to rewind and watch again. Outstanding cinematography and inventive choreography in almost every scene, whether it's 4 conversations woven together at once or a 1-on-1 Judo match in the tall grass.
