september: it’s back to school! it’s still warm from the summer but there’s a chill in the air. campus is invigorated and i’m not bored of my classes or scared of exams yet. i have enough free time that i can see my friends before i drown in assignments. there are back to school activities and i have money to burn from my summer job
october: the fear of midterms has set in, but its offset by the fact that i’m watching a horror movie every single night. i’m dressing like a weirdo at school and everyone has gotten used to it. the leaves turned orange and fell off the trees in less than 24 hours, but it looked nice while it lasted. i work weekends at a haunted house
