i saw them at lollapalooza in august and haven’t stopped listening since. also mark hoppus is really sexy!

In most peoples eyes, blink 182 is this fun little band that wrote all the small things and their drummer is now wheeling a Kardashian (or she’s wheeling him and devouring his soul, who knows) But people forget that after the breakup in 2004. Tom Delonge, frontman of blink 182 started his own ‘supergroup’ Angels and Airwaves. 2009 the sophomore album ‘I-empire’ released. I regard it as the best production of all time. The synths, the vocal chain, the sampling, the ascending guitar riffs soaked in ¼ delay. It’s larger than U2. It truly is some of the most inventive rock music I’ve ever heard. Soaring confidence. It’s a strange thing to attempt to convey that this to anybody, but I promise it’s some of the best shit ever.

speaking of solo concerts, i went to The Beths last night for the second time this year and wow, they are truly one of my favorite bands ever. Australian indie rock band with an incredible show both times. tight tight TIGHT band. danced my shit off, incredible guitar lines, the whole band sings backup vocals while they play, it’s unreal. feels like driving 95 down a highway or running as fast as you can until you fall straight into a body of water. feels like the most charming and poignant ways to sing about a breakup. feels like I LOVE LIVE MUSIC!!! ran into a friend at the show who told me they found The Beths through a playlist i made and got hooked. made my night. maybe you will be next

slight bias cause it’s my boyfriend’s band so i’ve seen em 20+ times lol but i genuinely love to go see em and think they put on a killer show!!!
you should check them out if ur into post-punk stuff…..
