Opinions will definitely be divided here. There are people who hate this part of the country as it's generally a bit more run down. I still think it's beautiful, the people are great (if you give a shit about being nice) and the cities are worth seeing. I have good memories of being in Nice and I also liked Marseille. Not huge on the Balkans, I do feel like the safety concerns are reasonable there. But hey, maybe you'd like it?
just went to porto and was absolutely enamored! The people were very friendly, the city is extremely walkable, and delicious food. Malta is also a sleeper hit tbh
iβve visited both on vacation and had a wonderful time, brussels would force me to use my french more and greece would allow me to eat all the spanikopita i like without having to get it from the freezer section
something I hoard is posters/postcards that I used to hang on the wall but I canβt throw them away because I still think Theyβre cool so I started using them collage with instead and this can apply to all sorts of items if you might be interested in junk journaling but yea highly recommend
