Every month Fern (@phaant4), Sophie (@irlhannahmontana), and I host a party at Old Flings (25 Avenue A) and I'm gonna be honest and somewhat unbiased, it's always a fun time and a cool spot to get your picture taken (by me :) and others). This month we're doing "Le Sleepy Girl" our little pajama party on September 26th and it's gonna be amazing. We have some very fierce DJs and just in general our event always attracts a crowd that isn't all people interested in the clout of an event which I personally like cause when an event is mostly people interested in the prospect of getting their photo taken an event loses it's sense of fun cause everyone has this focus of always looking good for the camera (that's why I'm the one taking the photos lmao) So if you're in New York you should come!

Spring nights (I think), low lighting, heavy music, a little bit too drunk. GOTH NIGHT! Sometimes there's something so nice about dancing with people you'll never see again (mostly because you forget exactly what they look like the moment you go back home). I'm not one to go partying ALL THE TIME, but you know what! Every so often it's good to remember that big social outings can be fun! Party responsibly y'all!!!

Made a list of some of my fav things in Nolita / SoHo, gathered 20 of my best friends, we all purchased disposable cameras and went to work on getting the pics. We met for a big dinner afterwards and this fall we’ll be hosting an outside reveal party with a projector & wine. As I’ve gotten older it’s become less about the gifts and more about the people and the experience. Had a blast this year! Cannot wait to see how the pics come out!

All you need for a great party is good music, a good soundsystem and a curated set of guests. Remember David Mancuso's The Loft? I think what's been missing from the scene recently is a shared societal ideal that gives club etiquette and niche identity some structure and context. We are all just trying to fit in, so why not create and design your own space? I started throwing parties in my loft at the beginning of 2023, and quickly found a community of people who resonated deeply with the intersectional art space I was trying to create. This party grew so rapidly that after the first two iterations, we had to move to a bigger venue (and sold it out!). This became the birth of the artist collective, WE ARE THE FUTURE!

I always have loved clothes and fashion. I have so much on my clothing rack right now that it's falling over so I feel I can't keep buying more (even though I will). But for now, I still want to take photos of my friends and myself in very cute outfits so we always go to those very cute curated thrift stores with displays and gorgeous room designs and get an outfit together and take photos, and were don't end up spending a cent. So you should do it, it's fun.
