caramelized shrooms + onions on top of rosemary focaccia with pesto, roasted red peppers, lettuce, and tomato. And the best part is that I got to share this meal with someone I love dearly.

If you use them in everything get good ones if you can! Also owning one good knife has changed the game for me. Good ingredients to invest in: - sea salt (maldon is my fave) - butter (get the most luxurious delicious butter you can and put it on and in everything) - Olive oil (the good ones taste so much better and you don't use as much cos they actually have flavour so last equally as long) My other fave cooking tips: - salt your sautéed mushrooms late on, not straight away to avoid rubbery texture - roast your cruciferous vegetables (broccoli, kale) with a bit of olive oil, salt, pepper and a squeeze of lemon for ten minutes on 180 for the best time of your life - spices and dried herbs last ages. I always have: cumin, tumeric, garlic powder, smoked paprika, chilli flakes, basil, parsley. - bouillon is great for adding flavour (throw in the water with orzo or pastina, add a cup to soup or curry etc)
