i vaguely remember seeing her on tiktok a couple years ago, prompting me to follow her on instagram to try n keep up with stuff she released. i've listened to some of her songs intermittently over the years (i especially love "flip your pillow"), but today is the day that i declare my never-ending love for her and her music!!!!
she posted a sentimental little instagram thread today, including a beautiful snippet of a song (unreleased?) and i finally decided to dive into her discography a little more. i just finished listening to her EP "earlier from '20" and something just clicked for me. her music is something excavated from my heart's core... it is so warm and sweet and i can't get enough of it. i can't wait to see runo on a headline tour one day!

a lot of the music i really connect with feels like a quilt of memories being wrapped around me, which is part of the reason for my username (but that's another can of worms to be opened later...) runo's music is a memory quilt, big and warm, and i hope you'll go wrap yourself in it for a little while <3
