back on here for the first time in a while, gonna start using this more now that i'm in new york
spent over $200 on ssense over the weekend on this pair of séfr wide cut black jeans. my dumb ass didn't even process how much i spent until the jeans showed up a couple days later, but putting them on i felt no shame about spending so much. some of the comfiest pants i've ever worn, high quality, made in italy, totally worth it and they look awesome for my style

👖these are one of my favorite pairs of jeans. if you know me you know i’m almost always in a baggy jean and i’m a denim enthusiast. i’ve gotten multiple of my friends to wear canadian tuxedos. it’s funny that they’re called that since denim is such an american thing to me for some reason.
i‘m wearing them today! i thrifted them at a goodwill probably like 2 years ago now and i had to cut the pants because they were too long (i always have this problem).
40inch jeans may seem crazy to you but i used to have a skater boyfriend in high school that would always wear 40s…so he definitely influenced me in that way. i used to think he was crazy for that because like all skater boys he didn’t have much meat on his bones but now i understand.
the pockets in these are HUGE too if you’re a woman you know how big of a deal that is. my girlies better go get themselves a pair after this!

🎧i know that most people cool enough to post here probably know this by now, but wired headphones are the best. for audio quality, yes, but also cos i’m wearing jeans with rly small front pockets, so my phone is in my back pocket and my wired headphones tell me that my phone hasn’t been stolen again

⭐substacks are the modern blogs now, right?
i've got my own substack linked in my profile under 'website' (i need to post more often, working on that). and of course, rayne-fisher-quann's substack is top tier. i read her stuff and i wish i could write nearly that well.
as far as traditional blogs (ie, dedicated websites), dangerous minds is a cool music blog that posts (or at least used to post) about random things in the world of 70s and 80s art rock and post-punk. again, not sure how active they still are but it's got that loose writing style and primitive design of the late 00s/early 10s blog era that i wasn't really around for but get nostalgic over nonetheles.
