Reading Poetry Books on the subway

I always want to read on the Subway, but most book have chapters that are too long. With poetry books I can read one poem at a time and check what station I’m on without ruining the flow. Also poetry is just great.

sometimes, poetry is just sentences that go hard

and accepting that (especially at the very beginning of reading poetry), opens a new horizon to explore as not everything has to necessarily have a deep hidden meaning. also reading poems out loud is great too. happy reading!

Little thin poetry books

One of the best things about poetry is that it’s so portable! Slip a little book of poems into a purse! Most will probably fit!
