I usually have the best luck at smaller shows of a band that I like. For whatever reason people are usually easier to talk to and if its awkward you can walk elsewhere and bands will start playing so you don’t need to talk all night.

Going to a concert alone

on your own timeline, you’re surrounded by people that are all there for the same thing if you need something to small talk about, easier to get tickets sometimes too. really gives me a thrill lol small venue, stadium, anywhere!

i am a journalist for a local zine & i get to host my first interview today, interviewing a local music venue/kava bar so insanely thrilled. adrenaline thru the roof. getting to learn about someone else, having a conversation with impressive people solely about them, being a listener. everyone should interview, even if it’s not for something published
