Been looking for a game for a while thats cozy enough it doesn’t feel like work playing it but also it’s in specific kind of thing where each time you play, you are pleasantly surprised. Bakeru is this for me for sure. Beautiful character and level design wrapped in mission based play style that’s full of Japanese lore and history. if you loved Goemon’s Great Adventure you will absolutely love this

I know a 6 hour long youtube video about a PS1 game you’ve never played is a hard sell, but I swear you’ll love it. Going into something blind and leaving with an extensive knowledge of the subject and the author’s relationship with it is stupidly rewarding. Believe it or not you will be moved by this untranslated 24 year old video game! I watch this like twice a year lol, if you only watch one Action Button review make sure it’s this one

I really like this game. The music, the visuals, the rush and impact of the combat, the little secrets that are tucked away in the map. I wouldn’t say the game is particularly challenging, but the atmosphere is enough to make me feel like I’m in another world. Very cozy, very chill, with a good balance of exploration and more involved rpg content.

Currently installing this as I type on a whim because I saw a trailer and I thought it might be a good follow up from just finishing replaying Alice:Madness Returns for the millions time. I was after 3D action adventure with hack n slash fighting, dark beautiful graphics and a female protagonist…so the choices were slim. Will report back if it’s any good!

This book will give you so much insight into the everything 1D and every relevent artist post that era.

Had the absolute pleasure of being art director for socials for this one. It’s out into the world , all episodes streaming on HULU now. This is a huge moment for Pakistani Americans and to be part of such an important show is blessed.
