Listen to Best Regards Episode 7 (Spotify | Apple)!
Our closet podcast studios are getting hotter than hot girl summer. Hannah reviews Trader Joe’s Everything but the Bartender canned margaritas and serves you ice clinking ASMR. We discuss summer drinks and artificial fruit flavors and Kat shares her tale of skittle outrage.
We wax philosophically about women’s sciences such as color season typology and female looksmaxxing phrenology (Vindicta, Splendida, witch skull vs angel skull), talk about the inherent selfishness of social anxiety, and come to the defense of basic bitches, normies, and Karens. Hannah reports on her recent discovery of Sabrina Carpenter and why people have been saying that’s that me espresso, and performs a dramatic reading of some of Ms. Carpenter’s expert lyrical stylings.
We talk about men’s slutty little shorts, sexualization of young female starlets, Sydney Sweeney’s choice to embrace the dog pill, and the apparent shortage of talent in Hollywood as evidenced in The Hollywood Reporter’s ranking of the new Hollywood A-List stars.
We take calls from two lovely listeners and answer their questions about how to move past and harness envy/jealousy for growth, and the propriety of being photographed without one’s knowledge in the workplace. We offer tips for finding an affordable and knowledgeable therapist and emphasize the importance of documentation of harassing events in your place of employment.

Pilates, female alcoholism, Roseanne Barr, the raw sexual energy of Martha Stewart, Shakira’s tax fraud and involvement in the Panama Papers, the Marilyn Monroe/Anna Nicole Smith/Britney Spears pipeline, Accutane, cigarette preferences, the movie CATS, fast food blogs, the sick post-Buzzfeed and Your Fave is Problematic World, the Kennedy family, Grey Gardens and Hoarders, LiveLeak and WorldStar Hiphop, the death of Omegle, ouija boards, Lana’s body journey, the sinister pants agenda, American Apparel, the pain of making change (literally from a register), Grimes’s Coachella mental math struggle, and math club.
I add two two-digit numbers in my mind (not to brag), defend Gwyneth Paltrow against the haters, and mansplain Tavi Gevinson’s new Taylor Swift manifesto to Kat with a quick primer on Nabokov’s Pale Fire.
We deliver a special message for our 4chan basement-dwelling fans and answer burning questions from PI.FYI friends/listeners.

My dad teases me about how when I was a little kid, my favorite thing to do when I was on the landline phone with somebody—be it a relative or one of my best friends—was to breathlessly describe the things that were in my bedroom so that they could have a mental picture of everything I loved and chose to surround myself with, and where I sat at that moment in time. Perfectly Imperfect reminds me of that so thanks for always listening and for sharing with me too 💌
