I drink the water in my bottle and I refill it. I clean and put fresh water in the catβs bowl nightly and I hear her drinking while I work at my desk or stand in the kitchen. but I water the plants and change the water in the flower vase and it disappears into the soil or into their stems silently and slowly, without me noticing. the soil is dry, the vase is half empty. The plant has new leaves, and the flowers brighten and stand straight for one more day.
