about a gay rights group (comprised of flaming gays) in 80s london who support this tiny welsh town over the course of the the miners strikes. its a true story and they portrayed it in such an earnest way. its funny, and it hammers at your heartstrings big time.

cute and is based off of a true story of when london gay activists supported welsh miners on strike! the main characters are mostly gay (and a few lesbians!!) :) it’s one of my fav movies (i linked the trailer but it doesn’t do it justice)

Had the absolute pleasure of being art director for socials for this one. It’s out into the world , all episodes streaming on HULU now. This is a huge moment for Pakistani Americans and to be part of such an important show is blessed. I’ve thought about this book every day since I’ve read it. If you are someone like me who lives chronically online this is our ancient text. There’s so much history and lore behind what we call stan culture today and some of it no one even knows about. This book will give you so much insight into the everything 1D and every relevent artist post that era.
