I was lucky enough to visit both Connecticut and Missouri this summer. I usually do every other, but my whole family was going to be in Connecticut so my two kids and I went just for the weekend. I got to see my younger sisters that live in Spain for the first time in two years.
This summer has flown by and I am making a point to enjoy the rest of the season as much as possible. This is the first year in the last couple that I havenāt been looking forward to the next thing. I avert my gaze every time Iām in a store that already has Halloween stuff out. Letās just be where we are, shall we?

I am very fortunate to have married into a family that live right on a lake in Wisconsin. We go up a few times over the summer and boat, swim, kayak/canoe, water ski. Itās always a lovely time.
This summer weāre also visiting Connecticut. My mother was raised in a small town on the coast and I used to spend the whole summer there growing up. My aunties and a sister all still live there, so the rest of us plan to go at the same time. This is the first year since I had my wedding reception there Iāll be spending more than a long weekend. Iām so, so excited! Swimming in the ocean is my favorite thing ever!! Itās one of my top 3 favorite places on earth. I have nothing but good memories from all my years visiting.
Thatās it for us because of money and Work, but I feel very, very fortunate to even take these trips!!!

Humans have always danced. It is part of who we are, yet we have been conditioned to be self conscious, to think that we do not move our bodies good enough. Dancing is beyond judgement. Dancing is not a skill, it is our soul moving through our bodies, expressed in movement. Dancing is healing. Dancing is bodily autonomy. Dancing is FUN!
