Saw a show last night with a friend in LA (Lola Young, echoplex). relaxed, danced around in the back mostly- got a bit closer when we felt like it. sang our heads off. inception rec- Lola young is a face melter of an artist.

getting your wiggles out

parked at the venue way too early so I took a stroll around the neighborhood and it was quite pleasant. saw some cute victorian houses I didn’t know were in this area! now i’ll be able to sit cross cross applesauce and put my listening ears on at the shoegaze show 🙂‍↕️

basking in the glow of playing a show

There's a neat kombucha bar / music venue in town, and it's one of my favorite places to see music. Pretty much exclusively indie/punk shows, but a friend asked us to play there, and we brought a very different vibe with our old time/bluegrass/folk stuff. Everyone was so nice, and it was fun to merge two sort of different worlds that share a DIY ethos

Bold eyeshadow and muted lips :)

Even tho I've started wearing blush (I love my reds, pinks, and oranges 🤓), I am always caught with some purple/green/pink eyeshadow and a nude lippie 🤪
