One of his more underrated albums that literally has zero skips. Text book example of a perfect album to me and one I recommend to anyone as an entry point to Princes gargantuan discography.
picked up a lot of prince B-sides and live tapes it’s always awesome that even early on he was just leagues ahead of everyone else (see It’s Gonna Be A Beautiful Night - live)
obviously not his best period but the fact that he further embraced digital sounds (post Eno), nine inch nails, industrial music while also maintaining his pop edge is always so fascinating to me
