🚽If you’re not in the aisle seat and need to wake someone up, wake them up. This doesn’t make you rude or a bad person!
Get to the airport early-early if you can. No need to add additional stress to your trip.
Someone here suggested packing a couple days early to reduce stress.
Some people love a neck pillow.
Bring an empty water bottle to fill after going thru airport security
Keep your seatbelt on, loosened a little, so any turbulence won’t feel scary
Maybe think about how wonderful it is to be able to travel so far so quickly.
Flying is annoying and uncomfortable, and it also is safe!

✈️there is an epidemic of rudeness in every American airport. Cutting lines, deboarding out of order, snapping at customer service, etc. but all that frustration melted away when I talked to Scott from florida in the seat next to me, starting with him showing me a video of gorillas his nephew sent him. Made me feel much more comfortable on the flight and improved the experience for us both. Really restored my hope that there is connection out there you just need to grab it

💽Most golden ages are not obvious at the time. I lucked out being in high school in a moment where grunge matured, hip hop got amazing and edm started to rise.
Smells Like Teen Spirit exploded freshman year. The grunge wave got east soon after that. On the other end of the parking lot Wu Tang was played again and again as Biggie and Tupac battled. And the skaters were shifting from punk rock to this new vibe they heard at warehouse raves as techno was escaping from the lab in Dallas and NYC.
The movie Kids catches this time really well. Words don’t quite do it justice.
