I remember where I was when I heard a song from this record for the first time. I imm went to look it up and glued myself to the computer until I finished the album entirely. Love her forever

yunggrandma99 same! my first listen was pendulum and i remember looking around my classroom being like ā€œare they hearing this rn??ā€ even though i had my headphones on. and the way her releases have remained consistently impactful since then should be studied.

at my current point in life, her newer stuff unfortunately doesnā€™t resonate with me but man does this album age like fine wine. love her earlier vocal stylings. the lyricism is sort of cryptic and mysterious but vulnerable at points. the production is so crisp yet vast. itā€™s a 2014 time capsule that doesnā€™t really date itself and a keystone in the progression of my music taste.
