i've listened to this album several times since it came out, which was like 3 days ago... i recognise a real pop bible when i hear one oh miss tate you're truly britney's daughter

I don’t feel guilty per se but as someone who literally hates pop music and thinks that it’s like an evil institution to replace real culture in society with mindless mass market consumerist trash using pop stars as commodity figureheads… I have a huge soft spot for Britney Spears‘s music.
Long before Free Britney I really identified with her struggles and her profound suffering and her music got me through one of the toughest times of my life. This and Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman were huge for me but I’m frankly very familiar with her entire catalogue. I am rooting for her always she is my Marilyn Monroe and my everything (Marilyn Monroe is also my Marilyn Monroe… I have a thing for beautiful women who have suffered a lot…)
