an oceanic movement of the soul

I think that when sperm whales slow their heartbeat all the way down and point their noses to the bottom of the ocean, they enter a vast inner world where the horizon vanishes into a distant speck and solitary thoughts flow and crash like tectonic plates. in my more profound, melancholy moments, I am a bug in a pond, contemplating the bubbles that pop on the surface. we are the same.

Curiously looking at big feelings as if they are water

on the trough of the wave looking up, crest will come again and again in time the waves will lessen to ripples, ripples to glass water always follows gravity be it the moon or elevation water can carve a canyon if it is patient enough- water has been an ocean, a person, a plant, a bug, a river, many times over many forms

Bathing in moonlight

There’s something primal about it. Religious, but in the way that washing feet is religious. Like the way you bite into ripe fruit. It’s saccharine. How precious it is to be human at the feet of a titan. When you do, give it some compliments. When you see something beautiful, it doesn’t hurt to acknowledge it.
