being in a new hyperfixation phase is so fun and exciting. it's also painful because the interest is so intense that i almost don't know what to do with it, and a part of me dreads the moment the obsession will inevitably start to fade...
getting involved into something that you feed from motivation is valuable for healthy change and social relationships in your life, if you do it correctly of course. That aside, fandoms are your best weapon, I guess
bc it’s what I originally wanted when I first went to college at 17 but I was scared to make writing my job and got a B.S. in Nutrition instead lol
Now the goal is an eventual PhD in Victorian Literature but I’m just happy to have made it through this part at 32!
