ever since I watched this two weeks ago I can’t stop thinking about it. it’s a stripper who just wants a baby but her boyfriend doesn’t want one so she convinces him by sleeping with his best friend. the things we do to get what we want… the loves we pass up in the blindness of misdirected desire… it‘s a silly little movie but it broke my heart too

MOVIE REVIEW

If you haven’t watched “Wild at heart“ by david lynch i fully recommend doing so. It’s an over the top love story with laura dern and nicholas cage as the main characters. there’s a quote they say in the movie that stuck with me and it goes, “if you’re truly wild at heart, you’ll fight for your dreams.” anyways go watch it rn.

crashing your parents bucket list trip

my loving parents half invited me to go with them to Glacier National Park and i accepted. it was awesome seeing the night sky, wildlife, and natural scenery but the best part was seeing my parents go somewhere they’ve always wanted to. Glacier was filled with people nearing death - there was a sea of white hair on all the easy trails and in the lodge lobbies. i did have to sneak into many hotels and campsites and sleep on the ground but that only added to the experience of witnessing a bunch of old people live their lives.
