cargo3 /cargo collective goes so hard!!! the builder encourages some really fun unique design flourishes & its a good way to get a portfolio up; sooo much cheaper than readymag too. ALSO: subscribe to the newsletter if you like seeing portfolio work in the design, art, and fashion space! every week you get curated sites delivered to your email inbox, great for inspiration + finding people doing cool things!

It's not intuitive. It's frustrating and it's janky but it's hella flexible–way more customizable than Squarespace. I'm using it for my site and I'm really happy with it.

it is by far the most customizable web builder and one of the only ones where you can fully change every component and have full access to the original code
