Vancouver is a hub for all things touristy — it can get busy, but I highly recommend looking at the niche quiet areas like Kitsilano (there is a beach here, and closeby are Spanish Banks Beach & Jericho Beach)
transit systems here are medium good, and parking is always a loose-change, strike-of-luck affair. It’s beautiful in early mornings, near sunsets and middle-of-the-week afternoons.
Whistler is also a very popular hub, with lots to do — it’s particularly popular in the winter because of it being a ski town, but there’s many hikes close (Garibaldi Lake, Squamish Chief)
If you have a car / the capacity, highly recommend checking out the Island! Ie: Vancouver Island. Victoria, our lovely capital city, has musuems and such, gardens and lots of walking areas / beaches.
This requires *^ you taking the ferry (/ a car, but you can see if you can hop on board) — if you do have a car / capacity, Tofino is a beautiful surfing town. I went there last summer with a friend, and it is a bit of a trek to get there via car/ ferry, but so so worth it.
Vancouver / this area of BC in general isn’t really known for its nightlife, but there is much to do when it comes to natural resources. hiking, guided walks, rock-climbing, kayaking, canoeing are all accessible and easy points of interest.

ineedkerosene I was just about to recommend Victoria. Have been a few times and it never disappoints.
Never been to the west coast looks beautiful though any particular cities you would recommend?
