What is your favorite movie that everyone overlooks or doesn't know?
Mine is definitely Snowpierce (2013) by Bong Joog-ho. The idea that people get stuck on a train and are helplessly oppressed by their luckier fellow passengers. I like the atmosphere of the film and the performances by everyone, but especially Chris Evans, who showed he can be something other than Captain America. The progression from dark and dirty tail to interesting and perfect front of the train, the culture of the train, the revolution and the amazing action sequences. I could talk about this movie all day. I feel like the fact that a lot of people are just glossing over this makes me like the film even more.
I'm curious what your hidden gems are :P

There’s a theory that this movie is somehow involved in the Willy Wonka universe lol

Brilliant, underrated flick. Right up there with The Piano Teacher imo

Estonian’s have made some really gorgeous movies and almost nobody knows about it. I wanted to tell you how underrated it is, but it’s actually rated very well, it’s more that it’s under-represented. The Temptation of St Tony (2009) and November (2017) are two gems and two very good starting points.

There's tons of movies that I think are a must-see (Tampopo, Roman Holiday, Moonlight, Amelie etc.) and trying to recommend any made me realise how much I love watching films... but I'd start with this one. It's about Living, with a capital T, and it's got plot, beautiful scenery etc. I also think it's a straightforward way to see what films do versus documentaries or other visual media. I first saw it as a bored volunteer at a film festival, killing time between two other movies I really wanted to see instead hahaha go in with zero expectations.

I think if there was some type of "go back" button that puts you back where you were before you clicked would be neat
