Existential, but hopeful. Finding hope in the mundane.
It’s interesting bc the premise is that there is another planet “hurtling towards earth” & everyone knows they r gonna die in a few months so a lot of ppl go quit their jobs, etc to pursue the things they rlly love, like traveling, partying, u know. But carol finds an office to work at. Extra points bc carol is a middle aged woman who isn’t a mother or a wife & yes that matters to me.

I ran a mile 2 a coffee shop. Walked back with an iced honey lavender latte and saw a very cool spider. The baristas were very nice. It's like a REWARD.
