I haven't been to too many museums, spending the most time at the MET probably.. but I visited this one in Yonkers while visiting a friend. The exhibits were super well curated. There was a beautiful room with clothing related pieces and this absolutely insane room-wide work that was like a sort of life sized diorama (see link). The parts from Felix Gonzalez Torres messed me up bad but fortunately they were some of the last bits we looked at (emoji related)..
She (the friend) also has a weird way of bringing out the best of me regarding this sort of thing, so I was really in a mindset to appreciate everything. It's a great museum that is deeply loved by the people who work there, strongly recommend if you ever find yourself boating up the Hudson.
